It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joan Smith of Port Huron, Michigan, born in Croswell, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Kerbyson and Verna Kerbyson (Nichol); her brother Wade Kerbyson (Margaret); and her brothers-in-law, Neil Gilmore, Gene Smith and Paul Smith (Claudia).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Keith Smith; her son Keith Douglas-Smith (Charleen Mullarkey); her granddaughters, Crystal Marie Gordon (Denny) and Melody Ann Smith; her sister Karen Gilmore of Port Huron; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Smith of Port Huron and Erwin R. Smith (Deborah) of Fort Gratiot. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
