She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Metzger and Lucille Metzger; her husband Robert L. Corbin; her daughters, Barbara Anne and Bonnie Marie; and her brothers, Richard, Gerard and Paul Metzger.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Murphy (Charles), Robert Corbin (Annika), Patrick Foley (Sue), Mary Kinsella (Michael), Martha (Kenneth), Andrew Corbin (Ming-Li Chai) and Sarah Corbin (Paul Steuer); her brother Fred Metzger (Lorraine); and her sisters-in-law, Lois Metzger and Margaret Corbin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's memory to the Spero Center, 1211 Griswold Street, Port Huron.
