With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene Jean Hartsell Yake of Port Huron, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Yake; her parents, Stanley Hartsell and Corky Hartsell of Missouri; her siblings, Fred, Willy, Norman Hartsell and Mary Bufford of Missouri; and her cousin Bill Bailey of Missouri.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Caughel of Arizona, Gary Caughel (Stephanie) of Fort Gratiot and Brian Caughel (Rhonda) of St. Clair; her grandchildren, Marcus, Jared Caughel of Arizona, McKenna of Michigan, Miley of Michigan, Corri of Michigan, Benjamin of Michigan and Elijah Caughel of Michigan; and her sisters, Fran Dryden of Elsberry and Dorothy Bloom of Lawton, Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Bible Church (1530 Emerson Rd, Goodells, MI 48027). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
