He was predeceased by: his parents, George Churchill and Julie Churchill (Lumley); his wife Laura A. Quinn; and his siblings, Arthur Churchill and Bessie Jacobs.

He is survived by: his sons, Ralph Hart (Mila), Robert Steward (Marie), Scott Churchill (Kellie), Michael Churchill (Currie) and William Churchill (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Madison, Allison, Ethan, Emma and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Luke, Alena and Theodore; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Quinn and Douglas Maitrott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
