He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Terpening and Gladys Terpening (Farmsworth). He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Phil Terpening (Lori) of Croswell, Shawn Terpening (Jenny) of Yale and Heather Terpening-Gierman (Jeff) of Clyde Township; his grandchildren, Emily (Cody), Phillip, Sarah (Ethan), Travis, Riley (Austin), Taylor Szeszycki (Shane), Allison Sherman (Marcus), Noah (Kelly) and Elijah; and his siblings, Carolie (Peter) and Greg. He is also survived by many many great grandchildren.
