He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Zavitz and Ethel Zavitz; and his sister Judy Rosen. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Eggert; his children, Roxanne Zastro (Tracy), Deborah Ozanich (Randy), Darryl Zavitz Jr., Howard Zavitz, Danielle Zavitz, Larry Zavitz, Alvin Zavitz II (Melissa), David Byars (Kirtricia), Mark Byars, Shannon Byars, Tammy Ruggiert (Scott), Stacy Phillips and William Eggert Jr. (Julie); and his siblings, Gerald Zavitz, Jason Zavitz and Helen Rompt. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
