He was predeceased by: his father William Grant Doan; his stepfather Richard Lewandowski; his brother Richard Lewandowski II; his former wife Marianne; his brother Steve; and his niece Rebecca.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Doan (Wheeler); his wife Kathleen; the mother of his children Linda Cheney; his children, William Doan, Greg Doan (Stephanie), Jennifer Smith (Jeremiah) and Jessica Doan (Diana); his grandchildren, Austin, Angel, Nathan, Francis, Keith, Mareena, Preston, Corbin and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Brian Doan (Sandy), Carol Lavere, Stephanie Pevec (Marty) and Annette Sparks (Keith); and his niece Nicole Gray (Scott).
