He is survived by: his children, Joseph Tallmadge (Cheryl), Eric Tallmadge (Stephanie), Danielle Kindred (Ryan) and Mathieu Tallmadge; his grandchildren, Joseph Tallmadge Jr., Kaylee Kindred, Jordan Kindred, Hayden Tallmadge, Adam Tallmadge, Ayren Tallmadge, Jamison Tallmadge and Hunter Peters; his siblings, Sherri Cornwell, Steve Tallmadge, Donald Tallmadge, Nicole Fetterly, Katrice Tallmadge and Chris Tallmadge; his close friend Mary Lou Tallmadge; his uncle Rick Mugridge; and his cousins, Dan and Jeff Mugridge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
