He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burtch and Ruth Burtch; his granddaughter Ashlee Nedrow; and his siblings, Mike Burtch, Ruth "Tena" Ainsworth, Bill Burtch and James Burtch.

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Burtch-DeWitt (Roy), Vicki Jean Lasher and Elizabeth Lacy (Andrew); his brother Dan Burtch (Bessie); and his brother-in-law Robert Ainsworth. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Port Huron Assembly of God Church.
