Ethel Gonder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Gonder of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel Gonder to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Bedford and Grace Bedford; her son James S. Gonder Jr.; her grandson Allen Michael Gonder; her friend Grace Brunson; and her siblings, Geraldine Morris, Louis and Harold Bedford.
She is survived by: her children, Theo Gonder (Sherry) and Stephanie Smith (Joe); her grandchildren, Athena, James III, Richard, Sarah (Gary), Toni (Ted), Hannah (Ryan) and Sophie (David); and her pet Sassy. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
