With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fatema Hossain of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fatema Hossain to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mulkutur Rahman and Kamalul Haya; her son Syed Shafkat Hossain; and her siblings, Ahmed Khaled and Nasim Ansari.
She is survived by: her husband Syed Showkat Hossain; her children, Sadaat Hossain, Syeda MacEachern (Mark), Shumi Ferguson and Shahida Hossain; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Maya Ferguson, Priya, Fiona Hossain, Judah, Eloise Hossain and Linus MacEachern; and her siblings, Hasna Banu, Khurshid Jahan, Yusuf Ahmed (Fauzia), Faruq Moinuddin (Farzana) and Tareq Nizam (Khuku). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home (912 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060). A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
