He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kathleen "Kathy" Swoffer; his half-sister Sue Wilkinson; his grandchildren, Diana Pack (Todd), Dennis Swoffer Jr. (Tina), Floyd Lambert (Amy), Chris Lambert (Christine) and James Lambert; and his caregiver Janet Gerlach. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

The family would prefer memorial contributions be made to Blue Water Hospice House or to a charity of the donor's choice in Floyd's memory.
