He is survived by: his friend Phil; his children, Fred James Ward Jr. and Sarah Ward (Richard Kippen); his granddaughter Chloe Kippen (Dustin VanHorn); his sister Alice Mericle (Gary); his brother-in-law Kenneth Matthews; his pet Sam "Chewy"; Bobby Bailey (Cheri). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and long-time friends.
