He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Belger and Rose Belger. He is survived by: his children, Fred Belger II, Sherri Westbrook (Trevor), Tim Belger (Deborah Roles), Susan Tamimi (Mohammad) and Judy Cappellano (Michael); his grandchildren, Syd, Ave Westbrook, Katelyn Ruby (Turner), Ayman, Kareem, Heba and Raneem Tamimi; his great grandchild Peyton; his siblings, Carole Coushaine (Bob) and Dennis Belger (Shirley); and his pet Poncho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
