He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Griffin and Rosemary Griffin (Drueke); his spouse Rutha Mae Conlen-Griffin; and his sister Marian Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Michael Griffin, Kathrin Schmied (Wolfram), Suellen Griffin of Valdes and Thomas Griffin (Cindy); his stepchildren, Patrick Conlen (Lynn), Cynthia Kozica (Aidis), Carrie Manz (Paul) and Lisa McGuffin (John Scriver); and his siblings, Bob, Tom, Chris Griffin and Gretchen Buth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
