James Rankin Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026 we had to say goodbye to James Rankin of Port Huron, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Priscilla Freiger and Robert Mertz. He is survived by: his parents, James P. Rankin and Salena Lisa Rankin; his sister Cassie Gravley (Jay); his niece Maddie Gravley; his grandparents, James A. and Ruth Rankin; and his former wife Jillian Randall. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
