She was predeceased by : her parents, Hal Joe Jones and Janeaster Miller; her son Dwaine Kenneth "Roppa" Thigpen Jr.; her siblings, Janice Bernita "Pee Wee" Witherspoon, Shirley Ann Crosby, Mae Ella Morgan, Harry E. Jones Sr., Joe W. Jones, Robert Jones, Henry Thomas Jones and Clarence Miller Sr.; and her grandfather William H. Miller Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Dionne Thigpen and Jason Thigpen; her daughter-in-law Quantane Thigpen; her children, Lazeigh Patterson and LeKeyah Patterson; her siblings, Dale of Port Huron, Michael Jerry (Joann) of Port Huron, Douglas Jones of Port Huron, Kenneth Jones of Munich, Germany, Karen Jones and Kimberly Miller-West of Port Huron; her uncles, Bob Jones, Bob Bowman and Eugene Jones; her caregiver Lisa Williams; her sister-in-law JoAnn Jones; and her stepsisters, Betty Moore and Denise Moore. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, eight step-brothers and step-sisters; a huge host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
