She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Strickland Jr.; and her sister Keyshua Goldsmith. She is survived by: her husband Keeynan Grant; her children, Amarion Strickland, Kamani Strickland, Toria Grant and Dejae Grant; her mother Egeana Gill (Iran); her grandmother Virginia Goldsmith; her siblings, Darius Strickland, Michael Strickland, Jeremy Strickland, Alvin Strickland III (Nina) and Shanell Williams (Alton); her in-laws, Gloria Grant, Tyrone Mullen and Dorman Freeman; and her brother-in-law Donta Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
