She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Freiburger and Gladys Freiburger; her husband Peter Stiefel; and her siblings, Donna Franzel, Morse, Donald, James, Arnold, Herbert and Ted Freiburger.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Lachon and Peter "Rick" Stiefel (Kara Fertner); her granddaughter Andrea Harmon; and her great grandchildren, Jenna and Olivia Harmon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1505 Ballentine St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
