He was predeceased by: his parents, John Atkinson and Ethel Atkinson; his wife Ruth A. Atkinson; and his siblings, Gary, Dee and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Reyes (Victor), Eugene Atkinson (Teresa), Ardelle Kingsbury (Larry MacDonald), Cheryl Hilgendorf, David "Joe" Kingsbury, Raymond Stone (Claudine), Judi Stone (Rick Woolman) and Gene Stone (Leslie); and his siblings, Shirley Murray, Barbara Brennan (Lester), Joyce Atkinson, Roger, Dale and Don Atkinson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
