He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Houle; his children, Ronald, Richard, Robert Gartner and Katherine Rusch (Greg); his grandchildren, Tiffany Gartner, Melissa Marshment (David), Jonathon Gartner (Joshua) of Thomas John and Nathan Rusch (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Waldron, Jackson, Colton Marshment, Olivia, Elijah Gartner, Avery and Raelynn Rusch; and his sister Susan Graessle (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church- Holy Trinity (325 32nd St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
