He was predeceased by: his father Norman Pettengill. He is survived by: his children, John Pettengill Jr. (Kim), Jolene Furman (Shawn), Sheri White (Joe) and David Halifax Jr. (Shelley); and his grandchildren, Payton, Nash, Jon and Casey.
