He is survived by: his wife Jane M. Hernandez; his son Jonathan; his stepdaughters, Amy Ashton (Jason), Rebecca Main, Kimberly Biddix and Nicole Kilbourne (John); his siblings, Thomas Gibson and Samantha Matthews; and his friend Bonnie Krause. He is also survived by 5 nephews and 2, nieces, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
