He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Nichols (Green); and his father-in-law David F. O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Michelle "Flip" Sharpe; his children, Andrea Welker, Lynnette (Anthony), Cavis, Brenna Rivet (Austin) and Riley Besko (Holly); his grandchildren, Jackson Welker of James Joseph, Cavis, Lorelai Cavis and Prue Rivet; his father Joe Sharpe (Donella); his siblings, Colleen Sharpe, Russ Sharpe (Jennifer), Tim Sharpe (Kim) and Melanie Sharpe (Scott); his mother-in-law Diane O'Brien; and his siblings-in-law, Marysue Boyd (Matthew), David O'Brien and Jennifer Sanders (Gary). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear close friends.
A wake will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Port Huron Moose Lodge #158 (3520 Military St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
