We announce the death of Joseph E. Trudell (Port Huron, Michigan), born in Saint Clair, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 75. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Trudell and Ruth Schutt Trudell; his grandson Joshua; his siblings, Bill, Bob (Susan), Eileen Mann (Gus) and Penny Herrington (Brian); and his brother-in-law Maynard Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Shobert; his children, Dawn Schmidt (Ken) and Joe Jr.; his siblings, Donna Allen of Alaska, Dorothy Smith of Algonac, Kay DeSnyder (Gerald) of East China and Terry Trudell of Algonac; and his sister-in-law Annette Trudell of East China.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the American Legion (1300 Clinton Ave, St Clair, MI 48079). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
