She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Whitaker and Irene Whitaker (Thompson); and her son Jeffrey Jozwiak. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Jozwiak; her daughter Laura Spicer (Bob) of St. Clair; her daughter-in-law Lisa Jozwiak of Chesterfield; her grandsons, Joseph Jozwiak (Renee) of Armada, Eric Jozwiak (Samantha) of Chesterfield and Bobby Spicer of East China; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Connor, Logan and Grant; her siblings, Frances Derryberry and William Whitaker (Cheryl); and her goddaughter Lisa Rodriguez (Whitaker). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home (222 N Main St, Marine City, MI 48039). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039). A burial was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
