She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Middleton and Hazel Middleton; and her husband Bernard Duckworth. She is survived by: her son Robert Furtado; her grandsons, Daniel Furtado and David Furtado (Breann); her great grandchildren, Karlie, Melissa, Daniel Jr., Ariyah and Jasmine; Doris Middleton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
