It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayleb D Smerer of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tammi Duenaz, Leona Schuyler and Duane Amesse; and his pet Hawkeye. He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Smerer and Brandi Smerer; his siblings, Ayden, Bentley and Kinzley Smerer; his grandparents, George Duenaz, Clitus and Joan Schuyler; his aunts and uncles, Karrie Green (Lank), Jamie Frazer (Victoria), David Graham, Tricia Amesse, Jennifer Schuyler (Chris), Jessica Conard (James) and Eddie Schuyler; and his pets, Gunner, Blitz, Elsa, Jasper and Dewy.
