She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Charles and Margaret Charles; and her siblings, Edwin Charles, Keith Charles, Darlene Ceglarek, Tom Charles and Russ Charles.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Rutowski; her children, Andrea Rushing (Steven), Jessica Malburg (Drew) and Patrick Rutowski (Emily); her grandchildren, Maggie-Beth, Linus, Iris and Oscar; her siblings, Michael and Robin Charles; and her sister-in-law Judy Charles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home (912 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
