She was predeceased by: her parents, James Muir and Margaret Muir; her husband Kenneth Schwem; her son Michael Green; and her brothers, James, Donald and Paul Muir.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Schwem; her sister Margaret Ann Johnston; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Muir and Peggy Muir. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
