Margo J Bauer Obituary
We announce the death of Margo J Bauer of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 68. Margo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milard Joseph and Ruth Gruver (Fry); and her brothers, David Nix, Leo Burleigh and Michael Gruver.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Vatter, Hans Ian, Sara M. Bauer-Hausherr (Randy) and Steve A. Bauer; her siblings, Michelle Sherbutt, Melinda Neuman, John Burleigh, Joe Nix (Lucy), Mark Jaekel and Matt Jaekel; and her sister-in-law Sue Nix. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 4:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (1213 6th St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Council on Aging.
