“We are so sorry to hear of Marilyn's death. Several years ago Marilyn decided that since she and I had August birthdays and there are no holidays in August that August would be National Birthday Month. We always sent each other cards celebrating our birthdays in National Birthday Month. We had a lot of laughs over it. Sending hugs to the family.”

“So sorry to hear about Marilyn. She will be missed. My favorite memory of her is from 1993, right after my Elizabeth was born. When she and Rene found out I had a baby girl, they headed straight to Sperry's to find the perfect gift. Apparently it took them awhile because they looked at all the baby girl clothing before deciding on a dress. They both were so happy with that dress and just beaming when they gave the gift. I still have that dress and think of the two of them often.”
