With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murelann Charter (Port Huron, Michigan), born in Orillia, Ontario, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Charter; her parents, John Alfred and Dora Irene Belsey (Dempsey); her siblings, Robert Belsey, Betty Casey (Gordon), Earl Belsey (Helen), Patrick Belsey (Audrey) and Carol Lowes (Hubert); and her cousin Maxine "Micki" Dempsey Neuen (Carl).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Mark Charter (Michele), Nikki, Melody Crouch (Trent), Alex, Courtney, Sharon Palmateer (Shane), Tallon and Hollyn.
The family requests donations to be made to Samaritan's Purse in lieu of flowers.
