He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Dowd and Dorothy Dowd. He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Dowd (Suzie) and Colleen Denczek (Joe); his nieces, Nichole VanDellen (Jeff) and Erin (Nathan Mann M. D.); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Silas VanDellen, Jameson Mann, Lilia Mann and Vira Mann. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
