He was predeceased by: his father Richard Hurst; and his grandson Sean M. Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Hurst; his daughter Samantha Murray (Sean Vernocke); his grandchildren, Adriana, Bryant and Audrina; his sisters, Debbie Kamendat (Steve), Carol Hurst and Laurie Peltier; and his friend Mike. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
