He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Hotvedt and Ragna Hotvedt; and his siblings, Olaf, Oscar, David, Gertie and Martha.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile "Cindy" Mary Farrington; his children, Keith Hotvedt (Dawn), Judi Hemeleski (Mike) and Amie Tefft (Jim); his stepchildren, Colleen Richmond, Patrick Calverley and Ken Calverley (Maria); his grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Amber, Caitlyn, Bobby and Katarina; his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca, Joel, Matthew, Lauren, Kathleen, Sarah, Christopher, Brendan, Jacob, Daniel and Nenamarie; his brother Paul Hotvedt; and his close friends, Jack Johnson and Lloyd Borsvold. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
