He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raines and Marie Raines. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Werner. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.Memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
