It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley L Platzer of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Stone and Gladys Stone; her father-in-law Joseph William Platzer; her daughter Sheryl Lynn Madej; and her siblings, Eileen Davis (Gil), Dolores Ludington (Gene), Barb Wilke and Kenny.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Markle (Steve), Joseph Platzer (Nanette) and David Platzer (Carrie); her grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas, Alexandra Platzer and Natasha White (Ze); her great grandchildren, Trayvon and Kyra; and her brother-in-law John Platzer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Community Foundation of St. Clair County for the "Port Huron Police Department Fund".
