She was predeceased by: her parent Virgiline Duncan; her birth mother Virgiline Duncan; her adoptive parents, Dr. Douglas Treadgold (Ernestine Treadgold) and Ernestine Treadgold; and her brothers, Douglas Treadgold and Mike Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Shagena (Bill), Doug Bowers (Wendy), John Bowers (Betty) and Dale Friedle; her grandchildren, Daniel Shagena (Laura), Krystal Fludd (Stephen), Derek Bowers (Morgan), Justine Coffell (John), Kasie Nunley and Sara Bowers (Samantha McBride); her great grandchildren, Blake, Conner, Braydan Shagena, Lillian, Olivia Fludd, Mark, Adam, Lexie Coffell and Brooklynn Nunley; and her close friend Bonnie Quandt. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
