She was predeceased by: her parents, James McNaughton and Mary McNaughton; her husband David VanThornout; her sisters, Lorraine McNaughton and Edna Mae Murray; and her brother-in-law Roy Lester.
She is survived by: her siblings, Katherine Lester, Dorothy Tucker (Jerry), Martha Yeates (Wayne), Marilyn Oles (Ken), George McNaughton (Jacqueline), Gary McNaughton (Sandy) and Ross McNaughton (Dianna); and her sister-in-law Mabel Wolfe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Street Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
