He was predeceased by: his parents, Iona C. "Dolly" Zgieb and Donald J. Zgieb; his sons, William Zgieb Jr. and Nicholas Zgieb; and his brothers, Donald Zgieb Jr. and George Zgieb.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsey McKinstry (Steve), Lacie Zgieb and Joshua Zgieb; his grandchildren, Alexis McKinstry, Hannah McKinstry, Colton McKinstry and Ava Zgieb; his aunts, Shirley Rediker and Veronica Stulgis; and his friends, Denise Marth and Darcie Kreiner. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
