She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Buchanan and Bertie Buchanan; her spouse Russell F. Sharrard; her siblings, Bill Buchanan, George Buchanan and Rose Dunkle; and her daughter Nancy Fuller.

She is survived by: her son David Sharrard (Carol); her grandchildren, Leonard Fuller, Tina Thatcher (Paul), Rachel Williams and Angela Berger; her brother Gary Buchanan (Linda); and her son-in-law Allen Fuller. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Memorial tributes may be made to the Marwood Manor Memory Care Unit.
