He is survived by : his former life partner Ann; his son Edward Bauer, III (Mary); his grandson Jayson Bauer (Natalie); his stepdaughters, Linda Pappas (Paul Binienda) and Darlene Pappas (Grainger Goodman); his grandchildren, Dennis Gentz, Jennifer Gentz (Matthew Jaczkowski) and Adam Schall (Amanda Ervin); his great grandchildren, Christina Torchia (Frank), Stephanie Gentz, Carson Schall and Carleigh Schall; and also, Ethan Bauer, Avery Bauer, Sandra Baxter (Bruce), Catherine Baxter and Robert Baxter.
