A memorial service is being planned with the date and time to be announced shortly. Ann will be laid to rest with Ron at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Kairos Dwelling, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 88 of Portage, passed away Sunday morning, December 28, 2025. Ann was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on December 1, 1937, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothea (Hibbard) Hoven. On April 23, 1960, she married Ronald Wesselhoff who preceded her in death in 2012. Ann served as the Director of Meals on Wheels at Kalamazoo Senior Services, providing meals to homebound seniors. Following her retirement, she continued by delivering meals and helping to serve meals to those in need at Wide Open Table, Loaves and Fishes and other community outreach organizations focused on feeding others. She was a member of Portage United Church of Christ where she was a Stephen's Minister and where she served on many boards and committees. Ann also served as a regional and state level representative to the United Church of Christ. In her spare time, she loved to garden. She had kept in touch over 66 years with a group of friends she made while at Beloit College. Relationships were central to her life. Ann was always involved with the activities of her children and grandchildren. Ann is survived by her children, Greg (Michelle) Wesselhoff, Kristi Langdon, and Jeff (Cheryl) Wesselhoff; her grandchildren Matthew Langdon, Christopher Langdon, Ashley (Bryan) Miller, Emerson Wesselhoff and Ian Wesselhoff; great grandchildren, Kylie Smith and Haylie Smith; two nieces; and many friends including her special four legged friend, Sophie. Besides her husband Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dora Kay (John) Doyle.
