Anthony Richard Lamb Jr. Obituary
Anthony Richard Lamb Jr., of Portage, Michigan, passed away peacefully after an illness. Born on August 21, 1959, in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of Lola Carolyn (Wolfe) and Anthony Richard Lamb. He spent his early childhood in Huntington before the family relocated to Michigan in 1966.
Known affectionately as "Tony," he lived a life filled with curiosity and a sense of adventure. His journey took him across the United States—from the coasts of the West, East, and Gulf—before he ultimately settled in Portage. In his later years, Tony found joy in community service, bicycling, the companionship of close friends, and caring for his beloved cats, Salem and Opal.
A man of compassion and conviction, Tony was a quiet but passionate advocate for civil rights and social justice. He will be remembered for his intelligence, gentle nature, and quick wit—qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Tony is survived by his children, Chloe, Nina, and Micah; his siblings, Robert Arrington, Carolyn (Bill) Coder, Walter (Grace) Lamb, Vanessa (Steve) Becker, and Connie (Phil) Dziepak. He is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
