She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Varvir and Josephine Varvir (Elias); her husband Robert Sanders; and her siblings, Pete, Mary, Rudy, Johnny, Rosie, Joseph, Dorothy, Francis and Jeanette.

She is survived by: her children, Brent Sanders (KC) of Bath and Darci Schimp (Jeff) of Vicksburg; her grandchildren, Dr. Lindsey Morris (Matthew) of Vicksburg and Scott Schimp (Madeline) of Indiana; her great grandchildren, Murphy, Abel, Camden and Wells; and her brother Donald Varvir of Kalamazoo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
