He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Arkush and Barbara Arkush (Mutchnick); his sister Michele Schaff; his parents-in-law, Bill and Jean Young; and his close friend Gary Shoemaker.

He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, Nate Arkush (Karina), Drew Reese and Jaime Scott (Nick); his grandchildren, Chase, Carter, Conrad Arkush and Warren Scott; his sister Carolyn Kennedy (Brad); his siblings-in-law, Barry Schaff, Rod Young and Peggy Bigelow; his nieces and nephews, Brooklynn Lowell, Mara Bernard, Rayna Shoihat (Felix), Rachel Karp (Sam), Blake Bernard (Angela), Stuart Schaff (Lauren) and Brian Zider (Jamie); and his friends, Connie Shoemaker, Sheila, John O'Meara, Steve and Kathy Baum.
