She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie E. Middlebrooks and Birtha Middlebrooks (Cunningham); her husband Mike Douglas; and her siblings, Billy Middlebrooks, James Warren, Willie Middlebrooks, Jr., Margaret Ross and Judy Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Prouse, Amy LaFrance and Danny Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Lipps and Jerry Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
