He is survived by: his children, Eric McLeod (Carisa), Matt McLeod and Katie Melvin (Kevin Wheeler); his brother Gary McLeod; his grandchildren, Jake Melvin (Miranda), Cody Melvin, Amber Schievink (Matt), Maggie Baas (Dylan), Lukas Harvey and Kole Harvey; his great grandchildren, John Schievink and Micah Schievink; and his pet Geronimo "Mo" McLeod.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
