She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Klees and Anna Klees (Musebrink); her husband George H. Black; and her siblings, Roger Klees and Anita Hathcoat.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas R. Black, James A. Black and Jennifer Black; her granddaughters, Trisha Brownd (Thomas) and Allyse Stafinski; and her great grandchild Conrad C. Brownd.
